Where does SpaceX launch from?

SpaceX launches from four pads in three US states.

Florida: Space Launch Complex 40 and Launch Complex 39A

Space Launch Complex 40 is at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, and Launch Complex 39A is at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. Florida times are Eastern Time. See Is there a launch today in Florida?

Texas: Starbase

Starbase, near Boca Chica, is where Starship launches. Starbase times are Central Time.

Most SpaceX launches are Falcon 9 flights carrying Starlink internet satellites. Falcon Heavy, which is three Falcon 9 cores strapped together, flies far less often.

When is the next Starship launch?

Starship flights are often listed only as a month until close to launch, so one may not appear in the box above. See When is the next Starship launch? and our Starship tracker.

How many SpaceX launches have there been this year?

See How many SpaceX launches in 2026? for the count by rocket, launch pad and month. The 2026 launch scoreboard compares SpaceX with every other launch company.

Where can I check a SpaceX launch time myself?

On SpaceX's launches page, which lists upcoming missions and links to each webcast. SpaceX also posts launch times and delays on X. When SpaceX has announced a time, it is the one to trust. Times often move by minutes or days, sometimes on the day itself.
