The box above answers for today's date where you are, for orbital launches anywhere in the world. It checks for changes every 10 minutes while the page is open. It also shows the next launch and the three after it. Times are shown at the launch site and in your own local time.
For every upcoming launch, see our launch tracker.
How do we decide what counts as "today"?
These are our own rules:
- Yes means a launch is set for today's date in your time zone, with a set time.
- Possibly means a launch is listed for today but has no set time yet.
- No means nothing is listed for today. We then name the next launch.
"Today" is the date where you are, not at the launch site. A launch on a US evening can fall on the next morning in Europe or Asia, so the box may say "No" for a launch that is "today" at the launch site.
Launch times can slip by minutes, hours or days, sometimes on the day itself. Check again close to launch.
When is the next Starship launch?
The box above lists only the next few launches, so a Starship flight may not be in it yet. See When is the next Starship launch?
Is there a launch from Sriharikota today?
For a yes-or-no answer just for Sriharikota, the launch site of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), see Is there a launch from Sriharikota today? For the next ISRO launch, see When is ISRO's next launch?
Where can I check a launch time myself?
On the launch provider's own website. The sources below link to launch pages from SpaceX, NASA, ISRO's launch centre at Sriharikota, Rocket Lab and Arianespace. When a provider has announced a time, it is the one to trust.
