What is the current official status?
Checked 8 November 2026: no current official PSLV-C63 launch date found. ISRO's list of completed PSLV launches ends with PSLV-C62, launched on 12 January 2026. That list is a flight record, not a future schedule, so we also checked ISRO announcements and reporting for a new date.
ISRO's 25 February 2026 update says a national-level expert committee is reviewing the PSLV anomaly. It does not announce a PSLV-C63 launch date. We have not found a newer dated launch announcement in the sources checked. This does not mean the mission is cancelled.
What is TDS-01?
The Department of Space's reply to Parliament, published by PIB on 4 December 2025, lists PSLV-C63 / TDS-01. It describes TDS-01 as a Technology Demonstration Satellite intended to test:
- A high-thrust electric propulsion system.
- An indigenous travelling wave tube amplifier.
- Quantum key distribution.
The reply says technologies proven on TDS-01 would be used in later navigation and communication missions. These are the stated objectives in that dated plan, not a newly released final launch manifest.
Why do older reports give a different date?
The December 2025 government plan scheduled seven missions by March 2026. The Hindu reported that plan on 14 December 2025, including PSLV-C63 with TDS-01. March 2026 has passed. That old target is not evidence of a launch date now.
Some public launch trackers display November 2026, sometimes represented by a midnight timestamp at the end of the month. We found no ISRO announcement confirming that day or time, so this page does not turn it into a countdown or a promise.
What will change when ISRO announces a date?
Once an ISRO or SDSC SHAR announcement gives a current date and time, we can add the official launch window, India time, webcast and any viewing information. Until then, the honest answer is not announced yet in the sources checked.
